There are two types of fishball noodle: thin noodle (known as "You Mee" in Hokkien) and flat noodle (known as "Mee Pok" in Hokkien). As fishball noodle does not contain eggs, it is also suitable for vegetarian consumption.
Fishball noodles are most popularly used to prepare one of our favorite local hawker dish: the "Teochew Fishball Noodle". The noodle is cooked and served either "dry" (mixed with chilli paste) or soup (soup base is often prepared using ikan bilis).
They are available in packs of 3Kg and 5Kg.
